WONDER WOMAN: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON

Wonder Woman returns and in 70's, she takes a giant leap from the 40's during W.W.II and is in the more modern age of computers, high tech, and cold war threats. Once again Wonder Woman is called to go to the United States and wear the red white and blue colors and defend freedom and promote democracy in the world.

Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner) also returns playing the son of the late senior Maj. Steve Trevor. This second season is great, I was surprised how well done this show was made back in the 70's. The spy stories talking computers, robots, and all that, I had forgot the plots and the storylines of most episodes, and so in a way it was like watching it all new again.

As I watched certain things began to be familiar of course, had not seen this show since it used to be on syndication in the early 80's. Each episode does not fail to entertain and has excitement and charm as was the first season.

Love the new costume better than the season one costume. Lynda Carter was one of most beautiful woman of 70's, no doubt! This season two is awesome, and I never seen these episodes so vividly and of high quality in picture and sound, as season one, the episodes are like they were filmed yesterday, cant believe the awesome picture!

This show has been reminding me of The New Avengers especially this season two DVD collection, the larger than life spy stories, and fantasy and eerie sometimes places locations and characters and story lines.

Steve and Diana chemistry in season two is not as intense as it was in season one but it still had a charm and excitement tone to it.

This season introduced the Wonder Woman scuba underwater costume, she looks so damn hot also in that costume.

And then Motorcycle Wonder Woman, it's practically the same suit used for Under Water Wonder Woman with a motorcycle helmet added with stars on it. You have to see these scenes with the motorcycle, totally awesome and cool!

I was well pleased with these DVD disks, 21 entertaining episodes more than the season one episodes where they only made 13! Includes aIso a new documentary which Lynda Carter talks and comments on WW character and series. If you are not entertained by this show, you belong in the looser of the week section. This show is patriotic, and exciting, done in the one of the greatest decades ever, adventurous, excellent music, action, cool and awesome! Wonder Woman: The Complete Second Season DVD Site! In addition to last year's Season One release, Warner Bros. is pleasing Lynda Carter fans everywhere with this new Season Two box set. As with last year's release we are benefited with goreous cover art depicting Wonder Woman in her new 70s outfit as in the series time flashes forward thirty years from the first season setting. In this new season, Wonder Woman returns to the outside world to help the son of 40s Steve Trevor as a secret agent in the Washington DC based IADC.

I expressed my feelings about the show in my review of the first season (I love it), and others have provided plenty of information about the show. So I'm just going to add that the video quality is amazing. It looks like the show was filmed a year ago, not 25 years ago. I just wish every show got this treatment this good. Bravo Warner Bros.

WONDER WOMAN: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON

The series returned for it's final year, and what a year it was, 1979! Disco and skateboarding and a twins episode featuring Leif Garratt, and some far out stories that you expect with the Wonder Woman television show. The third DVD series is another hit, and delivers with a lot of entertainment, excitement, action, and adventure, as the previous year.

This season three finds Wonder Woman dealing with time travelers, a creature that is haunting an amusement park, a teenage idol, leprechauns, a science fiction convention where something is amiss, and so much more and I mean that when I say so much more!

Totally awesome third season and how lucky I feel to have watched this series once again, thanks to Warner Bros. for releasing this great DVD collection. Great picture and sound as the previous seasons a real bonus, deservingly so, this show deserves the best! Very satisfied customer, this show rocks!

Lyle Waggoner was a vital part of the show's mystique and feel. Lynda Carter is reason enough to watch this show, but without Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner) it just would not be right! Glad he was in the final season of one of the greatest American shows ever done!

This show no doubt with this DVD collection will go on to entertain generations to come, and experience the magic of Hollywood in it's prime which I believe was in the 70's.

As previous seasons, I was very happy with this third season of the Wonder Woman collection. And am very happy to have it on my video collection that is becoming large and impressive if I may say it myself.

It's very rare that a television show or movie based on a comic book is hundred times better than the comic book, this show was! Examples the Incredible Hulk movie, Richie Rich, and the television movies featuring Archie were duds, and all other attempts were good enough or just a little bit better. Wonder Woman is a better comic book than the Hulk, and was improved on, as for the Hulk movie it was even worse than the comic book.

The features and extras include Lynda Carter watching and talking along in added commentary optional for the episode My Teenage Idol, and a documentary "Wonder Woman: The Ultimate Feminist Icon" featuring interviews with Lynda Carter and many WW writers and artists. And also as a bonus an extra DVD with a Shazam episode!

The third and final season of Wonder Woman is ready and waiting for sci-fi fans everywhere to enjoy. In this great colorful season, 22 episodes (two of which are 2-parters) spotlight the Amazing Amazon from Paradise Island. As with season two, season three continues Wonder Woman's (aka Diana Prince) adventures in Washington D.C. working as a secret agent alongside the dashing Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner). It was difficult for me to get this season because of money and dollar being expensive here. She did a great job as Wonder Woman. I'm a grown up doctor but there is a child inside of me. I'll introduce my kids some day to the beautiful Lynda Carter.
I Argentina the ratings were on the top because of this show back in the 70's.
We love and loved you !!!!

I've been a Wonder Woman fan for years and this is just as good as I expected! If you love Wonder Woman, you'll be thrilled to have this last season as part of your collection.

JESUS OF NAZARETH (DVD)

I am pleased with this DVD, the two disks recounting the life of Christ. This is one of my favorite mini-series of all time and how well done it was. Brings the gospels to life better than I ever have ever seen from all Jesus movies and other productions. Franco Zeffirelli is a master of combining a classic art visual to the locations and scenes. It works well, he is not an Oscar winning director for nothing!

An all star cast featuring the big stars of the day at that time and power houses they were, Laurence Olivier, Olivia Hussey, Anthony Quinn, Stacey Keach, Anne Bancroft, Michael York, Donald Pleasence, James Earl Jones, James Farentino, Christopher Plummer, Peter Ustinov, Rod Steiger, and many more international stars.

But the best performance came of the English actor Robert Powell (pictured up top) as Jesus. Also the boy that played Jesus at age 12 played by Lorenzo Monet (pictured below), unforgettable kid with those laser like light blue eyes.

One thing, I remember watching the NBC mini-series in the 80's and there was this scene which featured young 12 year old Jesus walking around and seeing all kinds of things like fights, prostitutes, and looking with that stare in his eyes. It was a chilling scene very compelling, and never again was it run in the mini series showings years after. I thought it would be included in the DVD and it is not!

Besides that very happy to see this mini-series on DVD, and now added along with the broadcast version I already had in my collection. The picture looks great better than ever before and all seems to be of high quality, excellent DVD! Check down below for details in the mini-series section!

After more than two decades, JESUS OF NAZARETH remains the greatest motion picture on the life of Jesus Christ -unsurpassed and second-to-none. Beautifully directed by Franco Zeffirelli (best known for his 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet) and featuring a constellation of the greatest international actors: Sir Lawrence Olivier, Rod Steiger, Anne Bancroft, Ernest Borgnine, James Earl Jones, Anthony Quinn (among others, oh my!), this six-hour magnum opus has given flesh and humanity to the people and events of the Gospel narratives like no other movie before or since.

In terms of scope, detail and production, this film is a must-see, setting a standard of excellence which unfortunately has not been met since. JESUS OF NAZARETH makes for great viewing not only for the seasoned Christian but for seekers and those interested in an intelligent approach to the life of Christ. SUPERB. When this mini-series was presented by NBC in the late 1970s it had a great impact on me (I was a non-believer at the time). Better than most Sunday school lessons, this film gave a very Jewish picture to the life of Christ and opened my eyes to the Gospels. I was saved by 1980 through this film's influence. Show it to the teenagers in your life as they will not be bored.

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE (SEASON FOUR)

One of my favorite seasons out on DVD, and now added to my collection. I was well pleased with the DVD's, the picture is awesome! There were a few mysterious cuts and edits this time out on the box set. A few episodes are left not picture enhanced, as along as its only a few of them, its good to see a few like that gives it a broadcast classic quality that we were a bit used to seeing in syndication television. As alot of other people, I wish the extras were better, like having enterviews with the actors and stuff would be nice while some of them are still with us, rather than the facts and written extras. Over all great family top notch family entertainment. Also on my collection I have season one, season four is a welcome addition! Also now on my collection! The Little House On The Prairie (Second Season On DVD.)

First of all, I love Little House and will without a doubt purchase the entire collection of dvds for this series. It is wonderful to watch the shows in order and to see how the series evolved through the seasons. I have to say though that there are errors and those errors have been noticed. Episodes are flipped around (season 3), segways to "commercials" are chopped, the box art and dvd art seem to be one season ahead, and there are many edited scenes - something I really didn't expect with dvds. For example, I have an old vhs version of "I'll Be Waving As You Drive Away" and there are scenes on that tape that are NOT included in the season 4 boxed-set version of that episode! I really hope season 5 fares better in this respect as every scene is important and should, if at all possible, be included! Regardless of these criticisms I'm very glad this series is available in season sets. Little House has lots of class which is something sorely missing on television today.

I hope they release all the seasons on DVD.. I have really enjoyed watching the first four and have become a avid collector. I really recommend this for people who watch the series. If there is a certain episode you want to watch you don't have to wait for months to have it aired again on the tele. The only way NBC will release more seasons is if there is a demand for the series.. I 'am thrilled that they have been selling the complete season and would buy all of them. A minor note.. the only thing I did not like was that they did not have any movie footage behind the sceens such as interviews with the actors and bloopers. They only have written interviews and memories. But all in all its a excellent investment and was suprised at how low the price was.
